Creative Project Manager (SAM Level)

The Works has an exciting opportunity for an Senior Account Manager level Creative Project Manager to work on a number of exciting accounts.

As a Creative Project Manager, you will be responsible for delivering ‘the works’, ensuring delivery of all client work is on time, on budget and to a high standard. This job is about making things happen and building strong relationships with your clients and across the agency.

Main Duties

  • Effectively support the creative process by negotiating sufficient time and budget for the agency to do its best work, gathering client and category knowledge, being a creative thinker and expressing an informed point of view
  • Deliver end to end project management and manage multiple projects at a time
  • Ability to manage a project autonomously and be the day to day point of client contact, maintaining a positive and proactive relationship
  • Build a strong partnership with your Creative Project Leader to grow your account(s)
  • Build meaningful relationships with key creative and digital specialists across the agency
  • Support and in some cases, lead the financial management of your accounts including accurate cost estimates, forecasting, timely invoicing and ability to seek out new projects to generate additional revenue
  • Develop comprehensive briefs and educate clients on the creative and production processes

Desired Skills and Experience

  • Solid SAM with experience working in an integrated agency

Front End Developer

As a Front End Developer at The Works, you will be responsible for the development of a broad range of innovative projects, from messenger bots and websites, through to eDM’s and mobile apps.

You will work closely with our Creative Technology Lead, Digital Producers and other key stakeholders, to plan and deliver technical projects to the highest quality.

Main Duties

  • Frontend development across a range of projects including responsive websites (built on Drupal 8), EDM’s & SPA apps
  • HTML responsive markup across platforms and optimized for specific platforms
  • CSS including preprocessor Sass and BEM CSS naming conventions
  • Translation of UI/UX wireframes to code
  • Integration of the front-end and back-end aspects of web applications

Desired Skills and Experience


  • At least 3 years’ experience as a Frontend Developer – ideally from an agency
  • Any experience with Drupal 8 would be a massive advantage
  • Experience using Docker for local development (Essential)
  • Experience in ES6 and Typescript (Desirable)
  • Understand AWS hosting environment and fundamental design principles behind a scalable application to support load changes
  • Ability to implement automated testing platforms and unit tests
  • Basic Photoshop & Sketch skills
  • Proficient understanding of Git
  • A proven track record of delivering projects to time and budget
  • Ability to translate complex technical requirements to suit different audiences and technical understanding
  • Displays a passion for the latest development trends and techniques
  • Tailwind CSS (Nice to have)

Senior Digital Producer

You will drive the agencies digital footprint by bringing innovative solutions to the table and support with new business alongside our strategy team, convincing existing and new Clients to drive work through all digital channels.

Main Duties

  • Define, develop and deliver productions across a growing digital landscape
  • Guide the wider production team including creative, designers and developers to ensure we have scoped the project correctly, developed timelines to deliver to and have the right resources assigned to produce a great result
  • Lead production meetings with clients and/or third parties at all levels and arrange pre-production & production meetings
  • Manage the production process throughout the project lifecycle – from discovery/brief inception and scoping through to creative concepts, design, technical build/integration and testing
  • Write detailed project scopes – including developing functional specifications, project plans and effort estimates, project risks, interdependencies and assumptions for the successful completion of your projects
  • Overall responsibility for quality control and project profitability
  • Build great relationships with our clients so they see you and the agency as a guiding light for all their digital strategic direction
  • Build great client relationships and deal directly with clients on production issues
  • Propose, implement and manage new revenue streams by introducing and utilising new technologies and processes
  • Ensure the team is motivated, challenged and rewarded
  • Proactively share ideas and processes with the wider team

Desired Skills and Experience


  • A minimum of 5+ years digital production experience in an agency
  • A proven track record of delivering complex digital projects on time and to budget
  • Proven client, and stakeholder management skills at the highest level
  • Outstanding organisation, problem solving and communication skills
  • Excellent time and resource management
  • In depth knowledge of display advertising processes, including ad-servers and media schedules
  • Ability to translate technical information to non-tech people
  • A calm approach to stressful situations
  • Ability to manage multiple projects in parallel
  • A basic knowledge of coding languages and standards
  • A passion for all things digital
  • A great attitude and approach to our non-traditional agency
